| COMPANY HISTORY | |
| The company was initiated in 1989 as
a trading division of Berkeley St James's Financial Management Limited
based in Westminster. Following successive mergers with AIB Tax
&
Financial Services Limited and Jardine Financial Consultants Limited, a
successful mannagement buy-out was completed by Phil Parker, the
current Managing Director of JPC Financial Limited in November 1996.
The company relocated from Borough High Street, London to its current site at Dukes Court, Woking, Surrey in January 1993 and has since benefited from a sound base of contracting in the Surrey and M4 corridor/City of London areas. The company''s main administrative centre Woking looks set to continue at least into the early years of the 21st century. The company currently administers the accounting services of at least 600 IT contractors and its stated aim is to continue to grow modestly year on year. There is an extremely solid base of expertise within the company built up over a number of years from dealing with contractors. The staff base is currently 8 strong with the bookkeeping database being split roughly equally between 6 processing consultants. The day to day tax planning, business development and general administration of this lively accounts office is handled by Phil Parker the Managing Director and Guy Moorey, the company's Senior Accountant. |

| JPC Financial Limited provides
contractors with a comprehensive service at a fixed, pre-arranged,
annual fee. We effectively assume the full-time position of your
company’s Financial Controller, allowing you to get on with
what
you do best.
In general we are available to answer all the day-to-day enquiries which arise during the individual’s career as a contractor. The extent of the service you require ultimately determines the level of fee which you pay. Fees are fixed annually in advance in order to give you the confidence to plan your cash flow in the knowledge that there are no hidden extras. |

| Company Formation Service | |
| The company can provide off the shelf or start from scratch companies at a fee of £170 plus VAT. All advice and registration work are inclusive within this price. Companies House, Corporation Tax, PAYE and VAT registration procedures are all completely covered and inclusive within the company formation package. A free financial guide for contractors is also made available from the outset, along with a comprehensive guideline brochure on IR35 (See later). | |
| Accountancy and Book-keeping Service | |
| A full range of accountancy and
bookkeeping services are available. The fees start from £450
plus
VAT per annum to a full potential £900 plus VAT per annum
(ie.
£75 plus VAT per month). The client may tailor a level of
service
requirement to suit themselves and complete flexibility to change
service levels within the accounting year is available. The company
operates a payroll bureau, monthly bookkeeping services, company
secretarial support services, personal taxation compliance (self
assessment) and year end accounts.

| Dealing with Company Cessations and De-Registrations (£200 plus VAT). | |
| Dormant Companies | |
| Annual control of Dormant Companies maintained on a "tick over" basis (£200 plus VAT per annum). | |
| Personal Taxation | |
| The agreed fixed fees above cover the provision of personal tax information for your annual personal tax return as far as they relate to the company. However, any additional work required for the return is the subject of an additional charge dependent upon the time and level of skill required by our staff. Completion of straight forward self assessment Tax Returns with in-house tax software is currently charged at £75 plus VAT per annum. | |
| Tax Planning | |
| The senior members of the company provide detailed tax planning services which might include corporate and personal taxation planning matters generally relating to the contracting environment. The company can also advise on the overseas implications of contracting and has extensive experience of other business taxation as a result of years of experience built up in public practice environments. | |
| Pensions / Endowments / Mortgages | |
| The company maintains a relationships with a selection of Independent Financial Advisors. Clients coming on board with JPC Financial Limited will immediately receive the benefits of independent financial advice from one of its 3 major service providers. The main subjects covered would typically be pensions, life assurance, PHI and critical illness cover, special risks insurance, professional indemnity and personal investments generally. | Other Services | |
| As a result of 9 years of experience dealing with contractors on a direct basis JPC has built up several relationship with other service providers to contractors such as IT specialist solicitors, banks and building societies.
